Is 2012 your year to run your first 10km run? Or, perhaps finally shed those 40 pounds you have been trying unsuccessfully to loose? Maybe the TriK is something you have always wanted to complete. Or, is it to eliminate the cholesterol and blood pressure medication you are on? Perhaps, hike the Glacier or ride to Victoria.

I am honored to have the opportunity to travel on a three month journey towards a healthier life with 8 highly motivated and dedicated individuals.

Unlike any other program, this program requires each individual to establish an overall health and fitness goal along with mini-monthly goals in order to ensure success. With my help, you will establish an overall health or fitness goal along with three to five mini-monthly goals which move you towards an overall goal. Each time the mini-monthly goal is achieved you are rewarded with a gift from one of the participating sponsors which include Extreme Runners, Lotus Wear, Touch of Healing Massage, Maria Esthetics, TRIA Culinary Studio, Well Balanced Fitness and more! As well, you will enjoy a Lean and Lite Cooking class, a two-part nutrition course and a bra fitting seminar with the Bra Lady.

You will enjoy indoor and outdoor classes including yoga, hill repeats, playground sessions, track workouts, brick workouts, circuit workouts and more (sounds scary but they are just names). You will be required to journal and goal set throughout the whole journey.

I will lead, direct, encourage and help you design a path to success. I will be beside you throughout your journey ensuring you stay focused, motivated, inspired and most of all that you laugh and have a great time achieving success.

The next 2 Transformation Projects begin the week of April 16th, 2012 and end June 23rd with your celebration day.

This is a shorter Transformation Program running 2.5 months and covering 30+ sessions. This includes no classes on holidays.

Couple's Transformation - Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30pm and Saturday mornings at 11:00am.

Women's Transformation - Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00am.

Additional Friday night nutrition seminars will also be added.




All inclusive price:

One payment of $799.00 + HST = $895.00

"I had originally joined the Transformation Project with a weight loss goal in mind, but this soon became much more for me, the number on the scale was no longer the goal, but the overall fitness and health of my body became my motivator. I have lost pounds and inches, however I have learned that I can do things I never though possible, burpees, pushups, running, riding up hills and riding for miles, not to mention several other obscene methods of exercises along the way. Our Transformation Group became our own cheerleading group and we were motivated by each other and proud of the achievements all of us achieved.

Lastly, I know that we all became fitter, leaner and healthier due to the amazing guidance from Mia. Although we have had many names for her during the past 6 months, she always approached every class with humor, enthusiasm, knowledge, variety, and experience. She pushed us beyond what we thought we were capable of without us even being aware. We were all treated equally with such encouragement and personal attention that I know we all felt blessed to be there.

I know I will commit to journaling and trying new things and pushing myself beyond what I limit myself to. There is a world of opportunity out there and I plan to enjoy it! Thank you Mia!

This program was inspirational and fun! Mia is a knowledgeable and highly engaging person. She exudes a positive vibe that is contagious. She was able to transform a group of nervous, reticent strangers with diverse personalities, goals, ages, injuries and fitness levels into a supportive, highly functional collective. Being able to do this comes from experience, but it is also a gift. Few can so adeptly balance the needs of a group while addressing the needs and individuality of each and every group member. This was key to the success of the program. Mia created a safe, non-judgmental, but disciplined space that made me want to succeed. And I did succeed - with a loss of 13 inches! I am well on my way to reaching my goals, and most significantly, because I know that I will attain them, I can attest to the fact that the program was truly transformative.
